I love this conversation Tyler and I had talking about life culture art business and tech.

We talk about the passage I’ve been on from the start of the year up until now, from writing the transcript, to formatting and editing, finding a location and sorting out the venue for the space along with starting my own publishing company and publishing through it.  Tyler spoke about the influences he’s using throughout his story and how he’s coming up the creating his story for his art piece, establishing his world.

Then we get into Story. real story,  the world of stories. Starting with Kano’s album and how he really should be dignified as one of the UK’s spokesperson much like Akala for the people, its really like that for him but Kano has to want the position we also talk about Who would win the MOBO Headie One or Kano and I said Kano should win best album and Headie should win Best new artist but really whatever he is put up for he is winning, or should.

This took us on an extended journey to talk about the Top Boy series that has come out, also about the BAFTAs and Golden Globes it should win for best drama but really more about the essence of the show and what it does for creatives all over the UK who live the culture its representing seeing themselves depicted on screen and allowing people to think they can do it too. without Top Boy being what it is and made in the way it is there are so many other things that come into play and I just say a big thank you to Ashley Walters for all he’s done for creatives in Film and TV.

This bought us to talk about story and world building and what it is that brings depth to TV shows, what it means when you see black men on TV and how you care or should care about their character but seriously about the real world parallels between whatever is happening on road and what happens in corporate life, its just that doing road is the only option for certain people to feed their families; that life is just illegal but what they go through very much happens in legal settings.

We go on to talk about music and its powers in its own way our classics of this decade and really what makes you want to go back to certain music is the depth of emotion it appeals to, we agree its the same in anime and any other thing that is creative. Its all about Story

We name drop so many artists in the last 20 mins, like the likes of Solange SiR Tyler The Creator, Benjamin Clementine, Travis Scott and I gave a great analogy to his sound.
