Hello Comrades,

MAILING LIST

This is the coming of the 16 episode of the Culture and Camaraderie podcast with Tyler @Lax_Era and myself @NYTypical. On this weeks most thought provoking introspective industrious creative discussion:
We swim round into the conversation around J.Cole and if he’s finished with music and what he has done. We can say he has had a real effect on artists in hip-hop today but if this is his final run is he acting in the kind of way he should be, is he doing what he should in terms of relationships and veteran status? elevating to the “next level”of whatever the case may be, is he doing enough?

The Next Level, Veteran Artist

what J.Cole has done in the case of revenge of the dreamers and all the features he has done in the past 2 years is pull everyone in who has ever wanted to work with him and has added them to a list of people he can call on in one fell swoop. Him as the acting head of Dreamville needed that.

Who is J.Cole the Executive Producer

I feel it says a lot about his business mind he was able to have that kind of contact with people. Moving accordingly and tactile.

The Best Moves You Can Make

We also talk about the artists that J Cole has on his roster and veer into a conversation about handling artists. Managing artists producing Artists and creating music, the struggles of that come with that and the different personas of who people present themselves to be.

What is the real you

We get into a conversation about what an artist will and will not allow people to see and reply the curating of a human that isn’t of the artists own making. Real Journalism. Someone who doesn’t want to be friends with the artists but want to make a headway in terms of a story or want to share the artists story from their perspective or a perspective that isn’t tried before.

AND MUCH MUCH MORE
