Culture And Camaraderie Podcast: The Ugly Stanford Duck (@camaraderiepod)

Hello Comrades,

MAILING LIST

This is the coming of the newest instalment of the Culture and Camaraderie podcast with Tyler @Lax_Era and myself @NYTypical. On this weeks most thought provoking introspective industrious creative discussion:
We have a good free flowing conversation where we address numerous things including being the hero of your own story, the mental preparedness of being in some of the biggest events of your life social anxiety – the awkward social interactions of reality and awkward social dynamics online.

Anthony Joshua Fight Prediction

We go into a massive conversation bout the mental fortitude of highly skilled individuals and what is needed to take it all, my thoughts just as a guy that understands Anthony’s position is that to win he’s had to change and in the way he has moved in the past 6 months have been quite epic and the way people stack odds against him would make it seem like his career is over or Ruiz is this Giant that is impossible for him to slay

Can He Win It ?

Fact of the matter is people underestimate Joshua because of his late start and always look down on him considering that’s just what they want to feel. This is producing a bigger and bigger chip on his shoulder & we address how this shows itself in our lives.

Trying too Hard to be Cool

So Many people fake like they don’t try for some perceived clout and I just found this foolish and wanted to talk about it as I have never related. In general 90% of things I do I have found easy which led me to doing more and taking advantage of all the things I never had time to do but al in I have never ever acted like I don’t try or like this whole game isn’t my life

Am I playing the Game wrong by showing that I care so much ?

What social dynamics have been set up whereby this is the standard, what clout does this offer? and how can this be displayed when real life comes to play? Can it help you hire people etc?

Change of the Guard w/ Tech

We get into our third conversation giving our take on big tech and the psychology behind the users, why we act the way we do. Crossing us over to the way these companies make money in the social and gaming entertainment world and I don’t see a great deal of goodness going on making it all quite shaky.

Do we want these companies to dictate the rules much longer?

I can’t stand the way things are currently and I’m heaven sent on changing it the anarchy that ensures and the psychological corruption can’t take another generation in my opinion. So the best thing to do is become great enough to have a seat at the table.

@NYTypical

I document all the information I've gathered in my working and real life using reason and the written word to share with everyone how I ask an artist see the world. I research Plastics and Concrete and I'm educated in tech, design and art history. While having active practitioner experience in Advertising. I use that myriad of technical skills and display how they apply in the world and products we use starting with fashion.
