Here we are again with another boot, I dig it, really and truly dig these boots, none other by Ann Demeulemeester, her fabrication and materialism is up there and so is her construction so although there’s just one image I have of these I can see already these are just so well designed and for me.
The 13 eyelet for toecap to tongue is an aesthetic I’ve never really bought into till now, there’s something about the finish that’s really catching me.
The industrial look all maximal and useful not the most functional but accessible and contained, along with the straps to really tie it all together if laces aren’t your thing that day
All in the grey I love so much there’s something about this grey that’s giving off real concrete vibes it has an extra layer of texture to it you don’t necessarily see but are quality.
I shared my side eye at the 270 from my first glance, I couldn’t deal with the marketing and reposting flooding my screen, however I loved all the Collabs with the 270, the ISPA 270 particularly as well as the 270 utility as we all know I love functionality or things that look functional
These summit white reacts with 270 bubble they look ridiculously beautiful, I genuinely want a pair, not only are 270’s super comfortable but the React foam is also so the combination along with the summit white with blue accents tear me up inside because I genuinely need them.
Whoever done this combination and creative/art direction deserves an award of some sort because everything makes sense from the detailing in the embossed sole to the grooves in the upper.
These creps are so hard to me I didn’t really warm up to the moccasins or the shoot around or the ones but these mids, the raids, are the highlight of the collection the cross strap I see these FOG pieces as one for the wardrobe in multiple colourways.
Right now these are my favourite 180’s next to Yoons Ambush AirMax 180 which is also fire. These though, the layering of the straps over the laces which whip all the way round the back as well as the pull cord on the laces it add a much needed texture that I like to see in trainers.
The clean canvas colourways of the Bone grey already has me seeing variations we will never see with this trainer but I would love to bring to life. A pastel yellow strap that would pop right off the canvas or a black toe cap to match the Swoosh would be elegant.
